Welcome to Clow Beck House

Here at Clow beck we endeavour to make your every visit unforgettable. Our exquisitively designed rooms have every modern facility from power showers to free WI-FI, but each has a luxurious feel with pocket sprung beds, soft feather pillows, fluffy dressing gowns and a well lit seating area to read, listen to music or relax whilst watching television. Absolutely everyone is made to feel welcome here at Clow Beck. We have carefully considered the needs of our disabled visitors. Tastefully incorporating ramped access, well-positioned grab rails and a direct dial system so we are at hand to assist your every need. David is never too busy to personally escort you to the dining room. Time is not an issue at Clow Beck. Children are always welcome. We have games on the lawn, a play area, puzzles and crayons not to mention our special menu with boiled eggs and soldiers and chocolate spread - dont tell the adults.

Dining, overlooking our softly landscaped garden, is an unforgettable experience. We aim to give a new dimension to the term dining-out. We serve exclusively to residents and our menu is only a suggestion. We pride ourselves on locally sourced, home-grown, home-made procurement policy. Obviously people with dietary needs, food allergies and special requests are a 'piece of cake' to coin a better phrase! We offer extensive, interesting vegetarian options and invite guests to congregare in the kitchen to discuss dishes or pinch a recipe.

You will not leave hungry as breakfast is a feast. David's special porridge, full English breakfast with Skipton sausage and Doreen's black pudding, fruit and nut bread and home-made preserves just to give you a sample. Located on the border of North Yorkshire and County Durham it allows you access to some great days out and one of our specialities is route planning - or make yourselves at home, relax and just enjoy the Clow Beck experience. Clow Beck House has received many accolades over the years. Some of our proudest are :- The Good Hotel Guide bestowed us with a Cesar Award in 2007, also the best Hotel in the north of England in the Northern Hospitality Awards 2009 as well as winning twice in 2001 and 2007 the best accommodation provider in the Yorkshire Tourist Board White Rose Awards. In the National Tourist Board Awards we won outright in 2002 and we were runner up in 2008.
